Description Kai Uwe Broulik 2010-08-18 15:12:18 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.0)
OS: Linux

There should be a more convenient and nicer looking way of applications to indicate their progress in taskbar than (49%) or anything like that added to its window title.
The window button should graduatly fill as the progress continues. So the taskbar entry for the application or window should be an additional progress indicator.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Icon tasks is somehow able to show a file transfer progress e.g. from dolphin in the taskbar (I think because a progress announced through dbus also announces the application triggering it (used for showing the icon e.g.) and so it knows)

Plasma 5.7 implements this.
