Hmmm. This KDED4 crash I get on KDElibs/KDEbase 4.5.80 (beta1) might be related. KDED just crashes on login, and any time I try to start it - very annoying as even the bug report tool depends on KDED, wireless does, powermanagement - KDED instability is a real pita...

Backtrace below. Oh, the segmentation fault, does that mean there is some library mismatch in play? In that case sorry for the noise :D

(I run openSUSE, with the KDE factory Build Service packages; 64 bit)

Ok, the de-installation of kcm_tablet did it, must've been a version mismatch indeed. Thanks for listening ;-)

Since DrKonqi can't seem to properly interact with bugs.kde.org anymore, I'll just add this manually:

Application: kded4 ($Id: kded.cpp 1156841 2010-07-29 19:59:05Z zander $)
KDE Platform Version: 4.5.4 (KDE 4.5.4)
Qt Version: 4.7.0
Operating System: Linux 2.6.35-24-generic x86_64
Distribution: Ubuntu 10.10

-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed:
Seems like this is still around. I believe it got triggered when akregator crashed while asking kwallet for a password (if not, the timing was just mean).

The crash can be reproduced some of the time.

New crash information added by DrKonqi

kded4 ($Id: kded.cpp 1204125 2010-12-06 11:17:10Z dfaure $) on KDE Platform 4.6.00 (4.6.0) using Qt 4.7.0

- What I was doing when the application crashed:

And still here in KDE 4.6. This time the crash was triggered by konqueror (which also happened quite frequently in KDE 4.5.4 and 4.5.5). What is new is that this seems to have taken down plasma-desktop, too. see bug #265089
