My KDE Desktop is incredible slow since KDE 4.5 RC3

with RC2 it worked really really fast and it does with 4.4.5 too.... not with RC3

if i have 8 simple non exiting windows opened it is that laggy that i need 2 second to change the active window!

i dont know what causes this laggyness but its not CPU related cause the CPU Load isn´t higher than 13% in situations like that

Ok i tested with clean configs and it was awesomely fast...

i deleted kwin* configs and plasma* configs and testing if it stays fast. Until now it is.

I will mark this bug as WORKSFORME and reopen if i experience massif speed loss

I might have a similar problem. Which files do you mean by kwin* and plasma* config files?
