Description erik_hahn 2010-07-20 18:06:11 UTC
Version: 2.3.1
OS: MS Windows

The back button is completely missing. The forward button's target is not updated properly: When playing the first track in a session, the target is set to it. When another track is played, the same happens. After that, however, the target is stuck.

Reproducible: Didn't try
Comment 1 erik_hahn 2010-07-20 18:09:40 UTC
That should have been always reproducible, of course.

Using the slim toolbar, this bug persists. The back button doesn't disappear and isn't greyed out, it just doesn't do anything. The forward button behaves as described, of course the target isn't actually displayed.

Works with the DirectShow backend.
Comment 3 Jean-Baptiste Kempf 2010-08-06 19:02:43 UTC
What is the VLC version and the VLC backend version?
Comment 4 erik_hahn 2010-08-06 19:10:59 UTC
VLC version is 1.0.3. The backend is currently the nightly from 20100728, don't know what it was when I reported the bug. I cannot currently test Amarok due to Bug 245949.

Erik, you need VLC 1.1 at least for the Phonon backend. I am astonished it did build with an earlier version.

It didn't, I used the binary packages by the installer.
Comment 7 Jean-Baptiste Kempf 2010-10-17 19:57:27 UTC
You need 1.1.4 + Phonon-VLC 0.2.0 at least.
Comment 8 Myriam Schweingruber 2010-10-17 20:37:25 UTC
Fixed.

Reassigning to the new bugzilla product for better bug tracing of the various
backends. Sorry for the noise.
