Version:           2.3.1 (using KDE 4.4.4) 
OS:                Linux

when I stop the sound and after try to recover it, it doesn't reappears until I change the sound level manually

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
stop the sound by clicking on the sound widget (it appears in both kinds of toolbars, the main and the slim) then click on the same place

Actual Results:  
the widget shows that the sound is enabled but I couldn't hear anything

Expected Results:  
the sound should be back

OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.34-12-default
Compiler: gcc
