can someone translate the above error in english. i tried to translate the above language but i couldn't. rough translation: when using dolphin with "bleachbit" (never heard of that) it goes down and disapears (that probably refers to the crash). when I use BleachBit goes black screen then the desktop reappears, but is not working properly and in the gnome desktop I am the BleachBit author. I don't test on KDE, but my quick guess this relates to the libnotify notification? You will see the notification in two cases 1. There is a BleachBit update. The latest is 0.8.4, and 0.8.5 doesn't use libnotify to notify the user of software updates. 2. The preview/delete process takes longer than 20 (?) seconds and the BleachBit window is not in focus. This duration is common with the "System - Localizations" option checked does some1 tried to reproduce the bug? Looking at other bug reports that mention BleachBit, it looks like this is a tool that writes random data to files in /var/tmp to "shred" them. Following bug 271889, this behaviour is wrong, and I am closing this bug. Next release of BleachBit after version 0.8.7 includes whitelist for /var/tmp/kdecache-* , and in the future, please report BleachBit bugs to https://bugs.launchpad.net/bleachbit/ |
