I think this might be a Kubuntu-specific bug (don't really know), but every time I open Kopete (all this fine up to this point), the moment I click Settings--> Configure, it crashes. Every single time. 

I've never encounted a crash this consistant on a stable build of KDE-- it's pretty weird. Maybe it has something to do with HAL? (probably not!)

The crash can be reproduced every time.
