The folderview widget doesn't retain vertical size changes. After changing the vertical size of the folder view, the widget reverts to its previous size and location. 

The folderview should remain the same size after changing its size.

I've reproduced using not only folderview but even with other widgets (like the notes) on KDE 4.4.5.
