I also had similar problem in Kubuntu 9.10 its sad that the bug is not fixed yet...In Kubuntu 10.04 I overlooked knetwork manager altogether and used shell to connect. Hope it will be fixed soon and lives of the thousands will be lot easier I confirm that the bug persists, when I'm using kde 4.5 RC2, with kubuntu 10.04 installed from the ppa repository, and using the plasma-aplet of knetworkmanager, and through him I can not I connect using pppoe. Fedora 14 KDE also has same bug! And so is Ubuntu 10.10 KDE! The same here.Kubuntu 10.10 with kde 4.5.3!Someone please consider this bug as a higher priority! For almost a year the same bug and nothing changed! There are lots of peoples who have this bug,but they don't come to kde bugs to report it.Just give a look on some ubuntu, fedora, suse forums and you will see what i am talking! Based on the "me too's", let's consider it confirmed. *** Bug 228464 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 261411 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 269669 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 204170 *** |
