If the installed .mo file contains the right string, can it still be a problem of the German translation? In trunk that string is translated. Does using that file (msgfmt ... you know the drill) fix the problem? (In reply to comment #0) > (it is translated in installed po/mo) > Myriam, sorry. It must be really an Amarok problem. (Tried also current po from svn and amarok snapshot 20100720 ...) Nikolaj, any ideas? Reason is a broken xml markup in amarok/src/services/magnatune/MagnatuneSignupDialogBase.ui. Change "&quot;" to """, unfuzzy the translation in lokalize via Ctrl+U after scripty's next run, install the po file and the translation will be displayed properly.
