Currently there is no way to put focus on the chat text view by keyboard shortcut. It is possible to use PageUp/PageDown to scroll it pagewise regardless of focus, as well as scroll it linewise by using Shift+Up/Down, but focus is required to be able to use the Tab key to jump between links in the chat text view.

Addendum: Seems the scroll-by-Shift+Up/Down-regardless-of-focus is rather unreliable right now, suggesting a general problem with keyboard event routing or the keyboard interaction model at this time.
