Hej, the bug in KPixmapCache should have been fixed in the meantime. Please reopen if you can still reproduce it in KDE 4.4.4 or 4.5 Ciao, Tobias No, that problem seems to have gone away in 4.4.4.
FWIW, I do still have to stop and start Akonadi after starting Kontact and
getting the Akodadi Server Self Test dialog displayed.
I'm sure this is unrelated to the subject bug, but is very annoying.
