I cannot reproduce this behaviour. When the attached file's mime type is unknown, I get a icon for binary data mime type. Maybe this should be marked as closed? Created attachment 55454 [details]

Still happens to me, see the attached mail as an example source of the bug. You can import it into KMail with File->Import Messages (choose mbox format and some target folder)
I can confirm this bug will look at where is code to fix it. Regards. Fixed in 4.7.1 or 4.7.2 and master |
