Description Karl Ove Hufthammer 2010-03-31 23:42:36 UTC
Version: 2.09.90 (KColorEdit 2.1 RC) (using 4.4.1 (KDE 4.4.1), Mandriva Linux release 2010.0 (Official) for i586)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.31.12-desktop-3mnb

KColorEdit grabs the keyboard shortcut for ‘Alt + Tab’ when a colour is selected, which is *very* confusing/bad for the user. To reproduce:

– Select a colour in the palette (on the left)
– Try to switch to a new active window by typing ‘Alt + Tab’
– The next colour is selected, instead of a new windows displayed

KColorEdit doesn’t seem to be an official KDE project anymore. I can’t find it on invent.kde.org. It *is* available from https://github.com/KDE/kcoloredit, but the last update was from 2016, and it’s not possible to compile it on modern systems (cmake results in ‘ERROR: Could not find KDE4 kde4-config’).

So I’m closing this as RESOLVED UNMAINTAINED.
