Gwenview 4.4.1 introduces a display of <= 4 thumbnails on the folder icon in the folder list.  This is a distraction, which makes it more difficult to select a folder.
There should be a configuration option to suppress these thumbnails.
It would also be better for those who want such thumbnails
to allow them to choose one which represents for them the content of the folder.
Both of these changes should not be difficult to program.
