This is a xine problem. Try removing ~/.xine/catalog.cache *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 188602 *** Thanks. Amarok can now be started up but I've no sound anymore. It seems to be another problem but I don't how to get a backtrace about it. This is a Phonon configuration problem, please search the forum at http://forum.kde.org, it has been explained numerous times there on how to configure sound correctly in Kubuntu Thanks a lot for the informations ! ^^ |
Application: amarok (2.2.2) KDE Platform Version: 4.4.1 (KDE 4.4.1) Qt Version: 4.6.2 Operating System: Linux 2.6.31-19-generic x86_64 Distribution: Ubuntu 9.10 -- Information about the crash: Amarok crashes when starting since an unindentified upgrade and KNotify diplays some error messages like when starting or booting on kubuntu. The issue of KNotify seems to have a link with the amarok's issue. I've a HDA Intel sound chipset (Conexant ID 5067). Before the beginning of the crashes on every start up, I didn't have any sound from the output of amarok. Playing music or films in VLC for example is still working. Dragon Player bugs too and I think the problem comes from a kde's shared library. Thanks for solving my problem ans sorry for my bad English.
