Should this -- in your opinion -- only happen for commands? E.g. if I was typing "/home/my_home/" should there also be auto-completion? A solution I am thinking of is to only use auto-completion for executeables in $PATH and only if at least 1-3 (I tend to 3) letters have been entered. Btw. how did it work in 4.4.0? Were the results displayed with the application-icon or all with the same? Is this report still valid Tristan please? Confirming problem still exists with KDE 4.6. I can't test with anything more recent. This seems like a useful thing to have. It's not there with Plasma 5. Converting this to a wishlist. |
