Version: 2.2.0 (using KDE 4.3.2)
OS: Linux

The file "Joe Satriani - 04 - Cool #9.mp3" can't be played by Amarok... But, if I remove the "#", it's ok.

Which Phonon backend do you use? If it is Gstreamer, then this is a duplicate of bug 198008

Also, please upgrade to Amarok 2.2.2 which is the latest stable version.

Thank you,
Indeed, it's ok with the new release of Amarok v2.2.2

More informations:
- OS : Ubuntu 9.10 x64 (default Gnome desktop + French language packages + Amarok)
- Only the package "Phonon Xine 1.1.x backend" is used (the package "Phonon GStreamer 0.10.x backend" is not installed).

Ok, so for Amarok v2.2.0, this bug is not fixed.

An other information, (only) Amarok v2.2.0 don't play files whith a "#" inside his name but for VLC 1.0.2 it's ok.
