Version: (using KDE 4.4.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

VPN does not connect automatically. I set up an openvpn connection which works. Unfortunately knetworkmanager won't connect to it without me clicking the vpn connection.

Of course i have enabled "connect automatically" in the vpn connections properties.

Using Kubuntu Lucid with amd64.

I think it's NetworkManager's issue (not kNM):

(this feature doesn't work, but there is workaround)

This is upstream bug:

https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=622868
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=349151

It is the NetworkManager daemon that triggers the connection start if
auto-connect is configured. The NM clients (Plasma NM and nm-applet) just save
the configuration.
