Version:           1.0.0 (using 4.4.00 (KDE 4.4.0), Arch Linux)
Compiler:          gcc

Typing notifications are always being sent, and there is no way to disable this. I believe that sending typing notifications is an unneeded disclosure of private information, and wish to have an option to disable them.

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
