Hi,

With two desktops on Kubuntu.
I set the Task Manager Settings to "Do Not Group" and "Manually" sorting so I can order the taks in the panel. But when switching to the second desktop and coming back to the first one, the sorted tasks have been automatically moved to a new random order.

For instance, first I got :
- Konsole
- Konqueror
- Xchat
- Firefox1
- Firefox2
- Firefox3

Going to the other desktop where there are no opened tasks and switching back ... Now I got :
- Xchat
- Firefox2
- Konsole
- Konqueror
- Firefox1
- Firefox3

After many tests I can't understand the logic behind the new orders.

Same problem if I select "Do Not Sort" : the last opened task and other applications move to another place in the Task Manager after the desktop change. Alphabetical sorting is working but that is not what I need.

Disabling desktop effects is not the solution.

Duplicate of bug 185887 perhaps?
