Sentry Crash Report:
Attachments: Here the widgets restarted, but were unresponsive. Notice there are no window borders.
Nothing restarted here.
Everything restarted, but was unresponsive and had artifacts.
Weird behavior this time.

Description Lucian Marinescu 2010-02-25 18:05:34 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.4.0)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

Changing the Workspace theme in System Settings > Appearance crashes the desktop. (Plasma and KWin)
I lose the windows borders, can't switch between windows anymore and, IF the desktop widgets restart, they are unresponsive to mouse clicks and may contain artifacts.

I don't get any crash report dialog.

You can see the outcome in the screenshots below.

Weird behavior this time.

In this situation I had windows borders, but Plasma was gone. Thunderbird was running in the system tray.

It happened a few days ago, before I installed new Workspace themes and I remember that I did get a crash report dialog, but I didn't have the details (unfortunately).

This is very likely to be bug 182026. Regards
