Recently i added facebook xmpp account to kopete. I changed contacts names to custom. But after restarting kopete, names back to facebook defaults. 
When changing contacts names to "use address book name" everything okay, only "custom" not working.

I can confirm this on KDE 4.5 using Kubuntu 10.04.

I can also confirm this on KDE 4.5.2 using Kubuntu 10.10. This bug is probably related to bug 126898 and bug 226548.

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
