Description Russ Brown 2010-02-17 14:00:58 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.4.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

I go to Add Widgets -> Get New Widgets -> Download New Plasma Widgets. There is a widget browser with a search box on the right. I enter a term there (anything, e.g. "clock") and upon pressing return, the dialog goes away and the panel exits from edit mode.

I see no error message and don't know where to look to get further debugging information.

Sorry, forgot to add. This is kde 4.4.0 installed from the kubuntu backports PPA.
Comment 2 Dario Andres 2010-02-17 14:30:06 UTC
Note: until the bug is fixed, do not use the Enter key; the search will start as you type. Regards
Comment 3 Russ Brown 2010-02-17 14:55:19 UTC
Interesting. It does refresh the results if I pause after typing a search term, but the result don't change *at all*. I can type "gorilla" in there and the list remains the same.

Is that a separate bug? :)
Comment 4 Dario Andres 2010-02-17 15:11:54 UTC
Yes, please file a separate bug report. Regards
