New crash information added by DrKonqi
Same problem as described by the original reporter. I wonder if this is not distribution specific, since we both use Kubuntu, and apparently it requires a python module, which is most uncommon for KDE...
Just asked the Kubuntu devs, this is indeed Kubuntu specific. Myriam, should I also report to launchpad, or have you? I already talked to the devs, a patch is under way for Karmic :) If you need it immediately, you should get the python-qt4 packages from the staging PPA (don't forget to disable the PPA once you have the packages). This solved my problem for now and it should end up in the kubuntu backports PPA later today. Thanks Myriam. Assuming that is the same PPA which provided me with the KDE 4.4 packages, it is already enabled. *** Bug 229045 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 257452 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 265623 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 272117 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 277800 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 278050 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 284586 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** |
