Version:            (using KDE 4.4.0)
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    Gentoo Packages

Since updating to KDE 4.4, I observe a problem with the left half of the taskbar, where there appears to be some image overlay interfering with what should be on the screen.  If this bug tracker lets me attack files, I'll provide the screenshot.

This bug is not solved for KDE 4.4.2.. It appears exactly as shown in the screenshot below. Let me know if you need more information.
