Description Manuel Mommertz 2010-02-07 12:41:47 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.4.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

I have three activities. On two of them is a analog clock widget. One on my main activity. This clock is rendered correctly most times. But the clock on the other activity is very often nearly invisible (see screenshot).
This is present since 4.3 but I don't know how to reproduce. Sometimes both clocks a rendered correctly but most times one of them is not.

This also happens often in SC 4.4 if the Analog Clock is set up in the dashboard, with the dashboard showing a separate set of elements. The behavior I'm seeing is exactly the one shown in your screenshot.

I faced this bug often before the final KDE SC 4.4, from the final release on this bug changed into bug https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=226969.

the issue is tracked on https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=226969 so closing that one. It's fixed in 4.4 branch but the fix is not the best. The best would imply more backport and might break other things. I'll be working further on this clock issue in order to fix it for 4.4.1
