After restarting application sound was not working, but the rest seamed to be fine. After rebooting KDE (I'm using Ubuntu 9.10) believes that the sound devices "Audigy SE" for capture and output have been removed. CU Roman please recheck with 1.0-pre3 Application: kaffeine-xbu (1.0-svn3 1.1.18.1) KDE Platform Version: 4.4.4 (KDE 4.4.4) Qt Version: 4.6.3 Operating System: Linux 2.6.34-12-default i686 Distribution: "openSUSE 11.3 (i586)" -- Information about the crash: Kaffeine crashs after i start the DVB-T stream. My TV Card is a K-World/Vstream XPert DVB-T with cx22702. I use the Codecs from the Packman Repo´s. The crash can be reproduced every time. Then I remove the rpm from 11.3 Distribution and use the rpm from the 11.2 Distri, it´s the same, Kaffeine crash after 1 sec play from the DVB-T Card and from any file. Streams in the Firefox Browser works fine. -- Backtrace: Application: Kaffeine (kaffeine-xbu), signal: Segmentation fault [Current thread is 1 (Thread 0xb59f8710 (LWP 16569))] Thread 9 (Thread 0xb2750b70 (LWP 16570)): #0 0xffffe430 in __kernel_vsyscall () #1 0xb6d2c452 in pthread_cond_timedwait@@GLIBC_2.3.2 () from /lib/libpthread.so.0 #2 0xb75f71d7 in metronom_sync_loop (this=0x8198318) at metronom.c:870 #3 0xb6d27b25 in start_thread () from /lib/libpthread.so.0 #4 0xb611446e in clone () from /lib/libc.so.6 Thread 8 (Thread 0xb1c44b70 (LWP 16571)): #0 0xffffe430 in __kernel_vsyscall () #1 0xb610975e in poll () from /lib/libc.so.6 #2 0xb1ca0fbc in my_snd_mixer_wait (data=0x81a0668) at audio_alsa_out.c:151 #3 ao_alsa_handle_event_thread (data=0x81a0668) at audio_alsa_out.c:167 #4 0xb6d27b25 in start_thread () from /lib/libpthread.so.0 #5 0xb611446e in clone () from /lib/libc.so.6 Thread 7 (Thread 0xb1443b70 (LWP 16572)): #0 0xffffe430 in __kernel_vsyscall () #1 0xb6d2c125 in pthread_cond_wait@@GLIBC_2.3.2 () from /lib/libpthread.so.0 #2 0xb760a250 in fifo_peek_int (this_gen=0x81bd668) at audio_out.c:348 #3 fifo_peek (this_gen=0x81bd668) at audio_out.c:388 #4 ao_loop (this_gen=0x81bd668) at audio_out.c:1015 #5 0xb6d27b25 in start_thread () from /lib/libpthread.so.0 #6 0xb611446e in clone () from /lib/libc.so.6 Thread 6 (Thread 0xb0810b70 (LWP 16573)): #0 0xffffe430 in __kernel_vsyscall () #1 0xb6d2c452 in pthread_cond_timedwait@@GLIBC_2.3.2 () from /lib/libpthread.so.0 #2 0xb7605d25 in interruptable_sleep (this_gen=0x8321e00) at video_out.c:1092 #3 video_out_loop (this_gen=0x8321e00) at video_out.c:1276 #4 0xb6d27b25 in start_thread () from /lib/libpthread.so.0 #5 0xb611446e in clone () from /lib/libc.so.6 Thread 5 (Thread 0xafc26b70 (LWP 16574)): [KCrash Handler] #6 xv_update_frame_format (this_gen=0x8320028, frame_gen=0x872d840, width=720, height=576, ratio=1.3333333333333333, format=844715353, flags=19) at video_out_xv.c:467 #7 0xb7604185 in vo_get_frame (this_gen=0x8321e00, width=720, height=576, ratio=1.3333333333333333, format=844715353, flags=19) at video_out.c:424 #8 0xb2753675 in deinterlace_draw (frame=0x872d640, stream=0x872eaf8) at xine_plugin.c:773 #9 0xb29640f8 in mpeg2_decode_data () from /usr/lib/xine/plugins/1.28/xineplug_decode_mpeg2.so #10 0xb297a1ab in mpeg2dec_decode_data () from /usr/lib/xine/plugins/1.28/xineplug_decode_mpeg2.so #11 0xb7601e08 in video_decoder_loop (stream_gen=0x872eaf8) at video_decoder.c:387 #12 0xb6d27b25 in start_thread () from /lib/libpthread.so.0 #13 0xb611446e in clone () from /lib/libc.so.6 Thread 4 (Thread 0xaf258b70 (LWP 16575)): #0 0xffffe430 in __kernel_vsyscall () #1 0xb6d2c125 in pthread_cond_wait@@GLIBC_2.3.2 () from /lib/libpthread.so.0 #2 0xb75fb2f4 in fifo_buffer_get (fifo=0x8741a40) at buffer.c:230 #3 0xb7602d35 in audio_decoder_loop (stream_gen=0x872eaf8) at audio_decoder.c:67 #4 0xb6d27b25 in start_thread () from /lib/libpthread.so.0 #5 0xb611446e in clone () from /lib/libc.so.6 Thread 3 (Thread 0xaea57b70 (LWP 16576)): #0 0xffffe430 in __kernel_vsyscall () #1 0xb6d2c125 in pthread_cond_wait@@GLIBC_2.3.2 () from /lib/libpthread.so.0 #2 0xb760d34c in xine_event_wait (queue_gen=0x875f610) at events.c:56 #3 listener_loop (queue_gen=0x875f610) at events.c:214 #4 0xb6d27b25 in start_thread () from /lib/libpthread.so.0 #5 0xb611446e in clone () from /lib/libc.so.6 Thread 2 (Thread 0xad6e1b70 (LWP 16581)): #0 0xffffe430 in __kernel_vsyscall () #1 0xb610d0b1 in select () from /lib/libc.so.6 #2 0xb7624318 in xine_usec_sleep (usec=<value optimized out>) at utils.c:481 #3 0xb7612423 in demux_loop (stream_gen=0x872eaf8) at demux.c:370 #4 0xb6d27b25 in start_thread () from /lib/libpthread.so.0 #5 0xb611446e in clone () from /lib/libc.so.6 Thread 1 (Thread 0xb59f8710 (LWP 16569)): #0 0xffffe430 in __kernel_vsyscall () #1 0xb6d2c125 in pthread_cond_wait@@GLIBC_2.3.2 () from /lib/libpthread.so.0 #2 0xb766fb53 in ?? kaffeine-xbu (1.2.2 1.1.19) on KDE Platform 4.6.5 (4.6.5) "release 8" using Qt 4.7.3
- What I was doing when the application crashed:
Just opend Kaffeine and klicked "Play DVD" - after that, Kaffeine is still open, but the crash-report poped up with the following backtrace... this happens always when I try to play a DVD - GMPlayer works fine here - so it's not hardware related. Phonon is configured to prefere gstreamer.
It happens with different DVDs - so it's not DVD related either :)
