packaging/installation problem. please search the closed reports - this comes up every few months.
Comment 2 Martin L ü c h e m 2009-12-31 13:47:38 UTC
Sorry but my own bug is the only one that is found when I search the whole databse for "default.face". Same with "faces".

Hey Oswald,

so now I understand what the problem is, the missing icons! Can you tell me,
what the side effect would be if I deleted the existing ones? Whould there be a
greeting without any icons or would ther be a more severe problem? In other
words: Will there be any severe problem that comes out of this?

Regards, Martin
Comment 5 Oswald Buddenhagen 2009-12-31 15:58:16 UTC
nothing severe. it's just icons.
Comment 6 Martin L ü c h e m 2009-12-31 16:08:03 UTC
So in this case I assume that the simplest solution is that I put some dummy icons in the folder and forget about it.

Happy new year! Martin

just run genkdmconf as root. or set a default user icon in system settings.
