By the way, I fixed my audio problems in non-KDE apps by removing pulseaudio and pulseaudio-utils in KPackageKit. (There was no evidence of a PulseAudio install in /var/log/dpkg.log* at all, it might have got installed when I tried to run the Sugar-jhbuild development environment.) So steps to reproduce this bug might require installing pulseaudio "outside" KDE/Ubuntu. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 196320 *** |
