After upgrading to KDE 4.3.80 everything worked normally but suddenly all hot keys related to KWin have stopped working. I have tried to to remove the .kde4 folder and have a new one created, which didn't help.

Possibly related:
I added a a keyboard layout and set Alt+CapsLock as the main shortcut. The hot keys worked before that but never after. I have tried to remove the shortcut and the keyboard layout but that didn't bring back the lost shortcuts.

I have tried to remove the shortcuts and set them again which didn't help.
I have tried to set new shortcuts which do not work either.
