I have seen similar bug reports and they were caused by some error in the procedure of updating KDE/OpenSuse.. causing a broken state. - Check that all your "kdelibs5-*" and "kdebase4-*" packages are updating and they are at the same version (4.3.1) Thanks Could you check if the hints on bug 208989 comment 2 could help you ? Thank you for the quick response and sorry for the delay. It figured out that the problem was caused by reading problems of the installation media on this particular machine. The installation media proved ok on three machines before this one, so i did not let it check (no time, as always...). There were messages concerning the certificates of some packets, especially Gnome and KDE, which i did ignore. Shame on me. So, thank you again for the fast response and i swear to always take the time to check in the future. No problem. I'm glad it is working now :) |
