Description thomas coopman 2009-12-01 14:27:57 UTC
Version: 2.3.3 (using KDE 4.3.3)
OS: Linux
Installed from: openSUSE RPMs

When I want to resize konsole nothing seems to happen. But my desktop stops responding. When I release the mouse then, after a time (10s or so) the desktop start responding again, but konsole still has it initial size. When I want to resize konsole, I have keep the mouse pressed at the place where I want to resize and wait (again like 10s) untill konsole has resized.
I don't have this problem with any other program. This happens with transparent and non-transparent konsole backgrounds.

I have an nvidia card (8600M GT) with the latest drivers (190.42)

Try running Konsole with --notransparency as let me know if that helps.
Comment 2 thomas coopman 2009-12-01 15:12:50 UTC
That fixes the problem.

I just tested this bug with 4.4 and Qt4.6 and I don't have this problem anymore, so I guess something is fixed.
