Version: (using KDE 4.3.3)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

I'm using Kmail with IMAP(Google Mail) on my laptop connected by mobile broadband device.

When I'm traveling by train with an established connection to the Internet sometimes my connection falls down because of the network coverage. I have Kmail(Kontact) started all the time and IMAP works while connection is up. When connection is lost I reconnect after a few minutes and Internet works as before.

But now when I try to do something with my IMAP account in Kmail it hangs. The progress bar (right lower corner) shows 80 to 90 percent but dose not increase. After some time there appears a "could not connect" message.

Only solution is to exit Kmail and start it again. Then everything is working as before.
