Description Rashad Mughal 2009-11-25 00:00:21 UTC
Application that crashed: akregator
Version of the application: 1.5.3
KDE Version: 4.3.3 (KDE 4.3.3) "release 3"
Qt Version: 4.5.3
Operating System: Linux 2.6.31.5-0.1-desktop x86_64
Distribution: "openSUSE 11.2 RC 1 (x86_64)"

What I was doing when the application crashed:
Akregator seems to load articles which I cannot mark as read when I click the folder, I do have a script running in the background that uses kdbus to fetch the feeds. However it ONLY crashes when these articles I cannot read nor mark as read appear, the feed are ebay RSS feeds.

The crash is reported at bug 197718.
- Can you reproduce the crash at will all the times with the situation you described ?
Thanks

Hi,

Yes pretty much - yesterday I removed all akregator related stuff under .kde4/share/apps and imported my feeds again using the OPML.

After akregator fetched all the new feeds, I marked them as read, then I clicked the folder containing my new feeds, feeds came up in red which were unreadable and unmarkable as read. And akregator crashes after attempting to read some of them.

Akregator worked fine in KDE3, this new akregator seems to be causing problems.

If you wish I can email you my OMPL file and any other scripts I use along with akregator (but I'm not going to put them on here for anyone to see).

If there is any more information I can gather somehow please let me know.

Thanks.
