From bug 220488: --- What I was doing when the application crashed: Same as reported bug from earlier. I cannot connect to any network and tried to connect via Wifi-Radar and it reports that it is unable to obtain an ip address. In GNOME, I cannot sustain an active wireless connection. It connects and loses connection every few seconds. :( *** Bug 220488 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** From bug 227007 (KDE SC 4.4.0): Crash of knetworkmanager during starting -- Backtrace: #6 0xb620276a in QString::operator=(QString const&) () from /usr/lib/libQtCore.so.4 #7 0xb6fba9f6 in Knm::Connection::setOrigin (this=0x0, origin=...) at /usr/src/debug/networkmanagement/libs/internals/connection.cpp:275 #8 0xb6f86aa3 in ConnectionListPersistence::restoreConnection (this=0x8169d30, connectionId=...) at /usr/src/debug/networkmanagement/libs/service/connectionlistpersistence.cpp:122 #9 0xb6f86d62 in ConnectionListPersistence::init (this=0x8169d30) at /usr/src/debug/networkmanagement/libs/service/connectionlistpersistence.cpp:95 #10 0x080548a7 in Monolithic::init (this=0xbfd9a530) at /usr/src/debug/networkmanagement/monolithic/monolithic.cpp:178 #11 0x08053e34 in main (argc=1, argv=0xbfd9a674) at /usr/src/debug/networkmanagement/monolithic/main.cpp:43 *** Bug 227007 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 230648 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** I discovered that if i removed the .kde4/share/config/networkmanagementrc and .kde4/share/apps/networkmanagement files, knetworkmanager works great. Keeps crashing at startup. Seems to be crashing when trying to reconnect a perv connection. deleted out offending pointer from networkmanagementrc to conections.
I tried the same correction that was posted in Comment #6 From Lionel Tricon, It worked for me without even a reboot of the OS. pac0124 *** Bug 246572 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Is this still happening with the recent Plasma NM version? |
