(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: kclockapplet
Version: KDE 2.1.0
Severity: wishlist
Installed from: Debian Packages
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.3 20010219 (prerelease)
OS: Linux 2.4.1 i686
OS/Compiler notes:

The clock applet displays calendar widget when it's clicked. This calendar should be usable to open an organizer app for the selected date.

The calendar widget should also display dates in bold for which tasks are assigned. And
probably in different colour for those dates which have an all-day event or a birthday. I wouldn't
mind a very simple organizer integrated with calendar. The one that lets you quickly assign
tasks for the day and only has one day display with alarm notification. Full-featured organizer
is too bulky sometimes, and what I am expecting of clock calendar widget is the basic
functionality of a calendar found in say Nokia cell phones. It would save a lot of time and
increase productivity for sure!
