You need to do a full rescan, then restart Amarok. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 214599 *** Full rescan and restart doesn't solve this problem. Sorry, my bad, didn't read your description in depth. Is this still valid in Amarok 2.2.2 or in current git? Checked with version 2.2.2 (fedora build)(amarok-2.2.2-3.fc12.x86_64) How to reproduce: - Clear playlist - Add a file from 'local music' (with artist and album information) to the playlist. - The new entry in the playlist has 'album' actions. (show cover, retrieve cover, use own cover, remove cover) - Clear the playlist again - Now add the same file from 'files' to the playlist. - Now this entry has no 'album' actions. Also the cover disappeared. So all files added from the 'files' overview don't have album actions and won't show the cover in the playlist. OK, thanks for the clarification. We are currently writing a new file browser that should solve the issue Amarok 2.3.1 will be release next week, is this still valid? Closing for lack of feedback, should be already solved in Amarok 2.3.1 |
