PS I had to lie about the kde version to get past the whiny "you're on an old version screen". I'm actually using 4.1.4 (Ubuntu Intrepid) and tellico 1.3.2.1-ubuntu1. You can use Video Collection to manage home video collection in tellico 2. There is a URL type you can add to refer to a file location. But I concur that it would be nice to have custom plugin support to auto-populate fields, execute external programs, etc. *** Bug 249241 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** I can confirm that there is not any URL option in the Video Collection Fields. A URL field can easily be added in the Fields Editor, but I recognize the request has being able to read information from a video file directly. Clicking the URL in Tellico would open whatever video player is configured to open that type of file. *** Bug 380815 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Commit https://invent.kde.org/office/tellico/-/commit/4eb233bbaddd2bcc8f07d6c0e4a748975ac0219e added support for reading video metadata and information from NFO files. The functionality will be in Tellico 4.0. |
