Correction: the only case I can confirm where the .directory file does not get saved is on an SSHFS filesystem that does in fact have write permission, since the .directory files from read-only FSs go in ~/.kde/share/apps/dolphin/view_properties/local). This ability to set defaults would still be useful when setting up a system or migrating from another file manager that does not use .directory files. I fail to reproduce the problem with SSHFS using KDE SC 4.9. Mark it as fixed. Feel free to reopen if the problem still exists. |
