The backtrace seems related to bug 212480. It could also be related to bug 211940. - Does Plasma crash if you repeat the same situation ? Thanks #7 0x04f604fa in Plasma::ToolTipManagerPrivate::showToolTip (this=0xcc) at ../../plasma/tooltipmanager.cpp:342 the signal is triggering a non-existent object (0xcc is not going to be a valid address); and yes it looks a lot like 212480. to the reporter: are you using the "input method panel" widget? what widgets are you using? I'm not «using it» but yes, I remember that I enabled it for a while to test, just a few moments in fact. But the crash was not very close in time with that moment as far as I remember now :(.
