*** Bug 272783 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Resetting assignee to default as per bug #305719 macOS color labels have since been merged with tags; tags have a color, and tagging a file with "Important" "Hot" "Work" Personal" or whatever will result in the icon being colored. It works really well.
