Version:           4.3.1 (KDE 4.3.1) (using 4.3.1 (KDE 4.3.1), Debian packages)
Compiler:          cc
OS:                Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.30-2-amd64

In KDE3 konqueror it was possible te rearang / reorder tabs with the middle-mouse-button. This no longer is possible with KDE4 konqueror.

Thanks for the report. I cannot confirm this: Moving tabs using the middle mouse button works fine for me in Konqueror 4.3.2 (Kubuntu).

Which Qt version are you using (one way to find that out is to run "konqueror --version" in a terminal)?

I've just noticed that tab moving does not work in my trunk build which uses Qt 4.6 (whereas my Konqueror 4.3.2, which can move tabs, uses Qt 4.5.2). Maybe this problem is due to a change in Qt.

I have:

Qt: 4.5.2
KDE: 4.3.1 (KDE 4.3.1)
Konqueror: 4.3.1 (KDE 4.3.1)

and it's not working.

What I mentioned in comment 2 is another issue (regression in 4.4, see bug 214646). In KDE 4.3.x, I still can't reproduce your problem.

Do you still have the problem? If yes, can you always reproduce it, or do you need some particular number or some special kind of tabs?

Yes, I still have the problem.
Moving never works, regardless of number or kind of tabs.

Hm, strange. Could you check if Konqueror gestures are enabled and if disabling them helps (System Settings -> Computer Administration -> Input Actions)? There was an issue that broke middle clicking in Konqueror if gestures were enabled (bug 189761).

If that doesn't help, I'm really clueless about what the problem might be :-(

Moving tabs works after switching konqueror-mouse-gestures off.
