Description Oren Held 2009-10-25 12:35:12 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

When opening a cifs server through Dolphin, it tries to access all the shares on this server. This means that for every share, it'll open an authorization dialog.

Expected behavior: when opening a cifs server from dolphin, it should authenticate once, and display the list of existing shares without trying to access each of them.

Same here. KDE 4.3.4 (Debian testing/unstable, i386). Really annoying.

This seems to be a duplicate of bug 209431. It's fixed with Samba 3.4.something.
