Description Bogdan Gribincea 2009-10-13 16:06:27 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.2)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

There has been a regression.
ktimetracker has empty menus and no icons in KDE 4.3.2. It is now impossible to use it.

Forcing installation of the ktimetracker 4.3.1 Ubuntu package on top of KDE 4.3.2 fixes the problem, with no side-effects.

I am using the amd64 version of Kubuntu 9.10 beta.
I also tried the 1.3.2 version of the openSUSE live CD downloadable here http://home.kde.org/~binner/kde-four-live/ and had the same problem.

The Ubuntu bug report is here https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kdepim/+bug/449862

Let me know if I can be of any assistance.

I'd like to confirm this bug on using version 4.3.2. Forcing downgrade to 4.3.1 worked for me too.

I'm using Kubuntu 9.04 Jaunty amd64 version. I posted the downgrade step here

Thanks for your report. I cannot reproduce but at the moment I decided to rollback the code change that seems the culprit.
