Home folder configuration dialog should be amended to save the current (or last known) instances open path. Dolphin does not offer as consistent a workflow as Konqueror did at one time. Having no choice for workflow execution should help to provide the illusion of workflow while retaining the illusion that file management is a cost-free experience.

Did i understand you right?

You want to have option to to dynamically change Dolphins home directory from /home/UserName/ to any "last known"? Also what do you mean by "last known"? Last one before closing app?


If so, I'd better prefer to have a back button to pointing to last used dir after a start of dolphin. Or a places entry pointing to history kio slave
