Description Jari Aalto 2009-09-20 21:37:19 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.1)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

Cf. Debian bug http://bugs.debian.org/#547563

If you first:

   Select View > Split (F3)

And go back to the menu, it reads:

   Select View > Close (F3)

SUGGESTION

This is confusing when you want to "undo" the split and return to
original view, there is no "split" word anywhere. Please preserve the
term for consistency. Few suggestions:

        View > Unplit (F3)

Or

        View > Split undo (F3)

Or

        View > Split Close (F3)

I agree with Jari Aalto.

Probably the best solution should be to be coherent with the other software and add a checkbox near the label without change the string:

[ ] Split

[X] Split

This would be the best solution.
