You will most likely find the subfolders in that dir but hidden. Ex: I Created two folders "Test -> Test2" These are shown as: Test .Test.directory -> Test2 (All subfolders in a maildir are hidden) cp -Rvp of a top level folder has always successful backuped mails for me. Bjoern, the problem doesn't lie with backing up emails, but rather with restoring / reimporting them. I'll use your backup method next time when I'm backing up my email, will see whether that's getting me any further. Cheers |
