Description Alan Jenkins 2009-08-27 16:32:57 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.0)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

When I move the panel from one screen edge to another, the notification icon - the blue/grey (i) - disappears from the system tray.

Actually I think it's still there, but it's hidden behind one of the other icons.

Here's another shot after moving the panel back to the bottom of the screen. The notification icon is still absent...

Here's what happens if I mouseover the Klipper system tray icon. I see both the Klipper tooltip, and the mouseover popup for the notification icon.

yes, it's hidden behind the xembed icons. in fact, as can be seen the whole widget is only drawing enough space for 2 icons.

it works here, but it may be something with the particular configuration of the panel on your system.

The "broken systemtray layout" after moving between screen edges is also described and being tracked on bug 203383. Should them be merged ?
Thanks

Yes, that's the same issue. Here we go.
