Version:           1.3 (using 4.3.00 (KDE 4.3.0), Debian packages)

I use the "Icons" view mode with Grid type "Columns" to get the Windows behavior i like.
Let's say i have two columns now, from the first column i select the middle file, i press shift, and now i press a file at column two. Now a lot of other files from column 1 are selected also.

Wrong duplicate - this is bug 162030, a Qt bug which will be fixed in Qt 4.6.0.
